FAQs (The Fun Ones)
Where are you from?
I’m currently based in Salt Lake City. I’m originally from Reno Nevada. I spent a couple of years in California before I moved out to Utah for school (though it’s up for debate whether my true motive was actually for skiing…)
When did you start playing/writing music?
I started on piano at ten then found a guitar in my dad’s closet when I was fifteen. I started singing and writing my own songs somewhere in between those two.
What was the first song you released?
Under the Weather was my first single! However I did release a duet that I wrote with one of my best friends a couple of years earlier called Days Like Today.
What was the first gig you played?
Outside of cafeteria performances at my high school in California, my first gig was a backyard concert so I could get over my fear of performing in front of a crowd.
What type of music do you play?
Depends, what are you feeling? I play across a variety of different genres. Country, singer/songwriter, soul, pop, etc. I love to take well known songs and put my own twist on it. As long as I sing one song you know, then I’ve done a great job.
Top Five Favorite Artists At the Moment?
Pony Bradshaw, John Mayer, Chris Stapleton, Dominick Fike, and Noah Kahan
What other hobbies do you have?
Skiing, hiking, surfing, camping, live music, and krav maga.
Who is your favorite football player?
America’s tight end — GEORGE KITTLE
